Literacy Coaching

​As a Literacy Coach, I will support all K-5 students and staff in the implementation of the new ELA adopted resources while also working with administrators and teachers to collect, analyze, and interpret data to guide instructional decisions.. Teaching students occurs in whole group, small group, and one-on-one instruction in and out of the classroom setting. I look forward to working directly with K-2 teachers at Dolvin to provide classroom-based demonstrations, collaborative and one-on-one support, and to facilitate teacher inquiry and professional development. The goal of coaching is to help teachers learn, experiment, and apply new knowledge and instruction that builds a sense of engagement and ownership of learning for every student. We are a Growth Mindset Community!
